AUD/NZD falls below 1.0100 after Stevens comments

FXStreet (Córdoba) - AUD/NZD dropped sharply reaching the lowest price in almost two weeks after ">comments by Glenn Stevens, the governor of the Reserve Bank of Australia, that said that rates could be cut further if needed.

The pair dropped from 1.0115, broke below 1.0100 and bottomed at 1.0073. Currently trades slightly above the lows still under pressure.

AUD/NZD technical levels

To the downside, below 1.0070, support levels might lie at 1.0055, 1.0030 and 1.0020 (Apr 6 low). On the opposite direction, resistance now could be seen at 1.0100, 1.0125 and 1.0140 (European session high).
