US: CPI rose 1.6% in January
FXStreet (Edinburgh) - The Department of Labour informed that US consumer prices rose at an annual pace of 1.6% in January, matching estimates. On a monthly basis, prices rose 0.1%, in line with forecasts although down from 0.3%. Core CPI, which strips food and energy costs, rose 1.6% over the last twelve months and 0.1% MoM.
