Analysts at Nomura offered their model's projection for today's USD/CNY fix.

"Our model1 projects the fix to be 31 pips higher than the previous fix (6.3343 from 6.3312) and 72 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close of 6.3415. The basket implied change is 87 pips lower than the previous official spot USD/CNY close (6.3328 from 6.3415)."
