China's commerce ministry: China is open to negotiations to resolve trade issues with US

Citing Chinese news agency Xinhua, Reuters reported that a spokesperson for China's commerce ministry said that Beijing was open to negotiations to resolve the trade issues with the United States and added that the extreme pressure from the U.S. wouldn't cripple the Chinese economy.
