EUR/USD Technical Analysis: 100-day EMA is key hurdle

  • The EUR/USD pair crossed the crucial 55-day exponential moving average (EMA) yesterday, confirming a bull breakout, but faced rejection at the 100-day EMA.
  • As a result, the 100-day EMA of 1.1484 is the level to beat for the bulls. That levels, however, could be put to test soon, as a break above the stiff resistance of 55-day EMA may have emboldened the bulls.
  • Further, the key MAs are not aligned in favor of the bulls. For instance, the 50, 100, and 200-hour moving averages (MAs) are now trending north and located one above the other in favor of the bulls. Also, the 5-day and 10-day MAs are sloping upwards.
